My name is Hyrum Hoecherl and I am the president of Beacon Home Inspection Service. I began my career in facilities management and the construction industry, both of which set me up with strong experience to conduct home inspections. Facilities management covered the scope of property maintenance, while renovations and constructing homes from the ground up gave me expert knowledge of a structure’s components and systems. When the right opportunity presented itself, I knew the next logical step in my career was becoming a licensed home inspector.
After becoming an InterNACHI-certified, licensed, and insured home inspector in North Carolina, I completed extensive training with one of the most reputable companies in the industry before starting my own business to help guide families through the home buying and selling process. I now proudly serve families in and around Huntersville and Mecklenburg County with the most friendly, professional home inspections in the area.
In my free time, I like building custom woodworking projects and have completed several pieces of commissioned furniture and cabinetry. I am also a big soccer fan and work as a referee in youth leagues, high school, adult, and at collegiate levels.
Being active in my community is very important to me. I’ve served as a coordinator for the Special Olympics and volunteered with Relay for Life and other local organizations. My passion for helping others extends to my home inspection clients.
